Terms of Service

These terms are a contract between you and the operator of Albion Profit Forge (albionprofitforge.com, "the Service"): Ahmed Ghanafer, a private individual in Sweden, Gränsvägen 18 13741, reachable at [email protected] ("we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to them. You must be at least 13 to use the Service and at least 18 to buy Premium or to take part in the referral program.
1. The Service
The Service computes crafting, refining and trading profitability for the game Albion Online from community market data (the Albion Online Data Project) and the game's public data files. It is a fan-made tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Sandbox Interactive GmbH. Albion Online and its assets are their property.
Market prices are crowd-sourced and can be stale, wrong or manipulated. Profit figures are estimates. You make your own in-game decisions; we do not guarantee that any figure is accurate or that any trade will be profitable.
2. Accounts and access
Much of the Service can be used without an account. An account unlocks the full tables, filters, carts, records and history. You sign in with Discord or Google, or with an access token we issue; the token is shown once and stored only as a hash, so keep it safe. A linked Discord or Google sign-in is required before you can subscribe, because it is the only way to recover an account, and a lost account would otherwise take its subscription with it.
Do not share an account between people, scrape the Service, hammer the API, or use it to harm the community data sources it relies on. We may suspend or close an account that does, or that is used for fraud, including fraud in the referral program.
If you link Discord and join our server, the Service grants and removes a "Premium" role on your Discord membership to match your subscription.
3. Premium, payment and Paddle
Premium is a paid subscription. Purchases are handled by our reseller and merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Ltd (paddle.com). Paddle is the seller: it takes payment, calculates and collects any tax, issues the invoice and handles refunds under its buyer terms. Prices are shown before tax; tax is added at checkout where it applies.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the price shown when you bought it, until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from Menu, Account, Manage (the Paddle billing portal, shown once you have subscribed); the subscription then runs to the end of the period you have paid for and stops. Refunds follow our refund policy.
4. Free trial
Premium can start with a free trial of three days. Paddle takes a payment method at checkout and charges nothing during the trial. When the trial ends, the monthly subscription begins and is charged at the price shown at checkout, then renews monthly until you cancel. Cancel from Menu, Account, Manage before the trial ends and nothing is charged. One trial per person: a Discord or Google account that has already been used for a trial cannot start another, on any Profit Forge account.
5. Referral program
Every account has a referral link. Earning and payment of referral commission are governed by the Referral Partner Terms, which you accept separately before any payout.
6. Your data and content
Prices you enter, carts and records you build stay yours; we store them to run the Service. How we handle personal data, including cookies, is in the privacy policy. You can export or delete your account from Menu, Account at any time.
7. Availability and changes to the Service
The Service is run by one person on a small budget. It may be unavailable, slow or behind on data without notice, and features may change or be withdrawn. We do our best to keep it running and to say what changed in our Discord.
8. Liability
We do not promise that market prices, projected profits or any other figure are accurate or complete. Except where the law does not allow us to exclude it, we are not liable for in-game losses, lost profits or other indirect loss arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury, for fraud or gross negligence, or any right you have as a consumer that cannot be waived.
9. Governing law and disputes
Swedish law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, the mandatory consumer protections of your home country still apply and you may bring claims there. Consumers in Sweden can refer a dispute to Allmänna reklamationsnämnden (arn.se).
10. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. Material changes are listed on the changes page, announced inside the Service at least 14 days before they take effect, and emailed to subscribers and partners; once in force, the app asks you to accept them before paid or partner features continue. If you have a subscription and do not accept a change, cancel before that date and the old terms apply until your paid period ends. The date at the top is always the current version.
11. Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Menu, Account. Deleting it forfeits any referral commission not yet paid out, so request a payout first. We can close accounts that break these terms. Paid periods are not refunded on closure for breach.
